Oxford, Ala. – Georgia State University claimed both the men’s and women’s titles at the JSU/Strut’s Cross Country Season Opener on Saturday at the Oxford Lake & Recreation Center.

NEW ORLEANS, La. – As the 2010 cross country season approaches this weekend, the Jacksonville State men’s cross country team was listed among the top teams in the South Region Rankings, announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s Preseason Poll.

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Jacksonville State has been selected to finish in the top half of the Ohio Valley Conference in both men’s and women’s cross country for the 2010 season. The JSU men were selected fourth in the league while the Gamecock women were tabbed fifth by the coaches in the pre-season poll of the league coaches.
